Dr Rose Logan joins Genesis after nearly 11 years of clinical practice in the GCC. She is a UK trained psychologist qualified to work across the lifespan with a range of clinical presentations. She has a particular interest in maternal and infant mental health and has worked extensively supporting women and families in the pre-and post-natal periods. As well as completing a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology, she continues to pursue professional education in the field and recently completed a Diploma in Infant Mental Health and training in specific modalities.
Dr Rose’s practice is grounded in cognitive-behavioural theory, but she utilises a range of therapeutic modalities, including Schema Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, mindfulness-based cognitive therapy and Dialectical Behavioural Therapy. She believes in the integration of modalities that allows for a responsive, person-centred approach to every individual. Dr Rose brings a compassionate and open stance to her practice. She believes in the relationship as a vehicle of change and sees it as a privilege to support clients as they move towards engaging in a full and meaningful life.
