Dr Fiona is a Family Medicine Consultant with over 30 years of experience. She is highly regarded for her holistic, patient-focused approach and her special expertise in women’s health and menopause care.
She graduated from the University of Otago in New Zealand with a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery and went on to practise medicine in New Zealand, Australia, and the United Kingdom. From 1994 to 1999, Dr Fiona worked as a GP-Obstetrician in Wellington, New Zealand, delivering up to 80 babies a year while also practising family medicine.
In 1999, she moved to Australia, where she expanded her practice to include general medicine, aviation medicine, and diving medicine while working with the Royal Australian Navy. In 2005, Dr Fiona relocated to Dubai to take up a position with Emirates Airline as a General Practitioner and Aviation Medical Specialist. She was later appointed Vice President of Aviation and Occupational Medicine, a leadership role she held for seven years while continuing her primary healthcare practice.
Since 2016, Dr Fiona has focused exclusively on family medicine, first at Valiant Clinic, Meraas Healthcare, and now at Genesis. Over the past two decades in Dubai, she has become a trusted physician for families across the region.
