Dr Maya Sabouni is a UK-trained Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist with over 18 years of clinical experience. She has worked across leading NHS hospitals in London, including King’s College Hospital, Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust, and Kingston Hospital, as well as at American Hospital Dubai.
Dr Maya provides comprehensive care across obstetrics and gynaecology, with a strong focus on patient safety, evidence-based practice, and personalised care. She holds a Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) and is a Member of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (MRCOG). She has completed advanced subspecialty training in benign gynaecological surgery and advanced labour ward practice.
Her experience includes working in high-volume maternity units managing more than 5,000–6,500 deliveries annually, caring for women with both routine and complex pregnancy needs. Alongside her obstetric work, Dr Maya supports women with a wide range of gynaecological and hormonal concerns, including perimenopause and menopause, offering clear guidance and tailored medical care when required.
Fluent in both Arabic and English, Dr Maya ensures clear communication and builds trusted relationships with women from diverse backgrounds at every stage of care.
