Dr Rana Daners is a highly experienced Specialist Ophthalmologist with over 27 years of clinical experience in comprehensive eye care and ophthalmic surgery. She completed her medical degree at Damascus University and began her specialist training in ophthalmology in 1993. She later obtained her postgraduate qualifications in ophthalmology and eye surgery, followed by advanced training at the American University of Beirut.
Dr Rana worked as an Ophthalmologist in Beirut for six years before relocating to Dubai in 2003. Since then, she has practised across several leading eye clinics in the UAE, providing care for both adult and paediatric patients. She has extensive experience in anterior segment disease, glaucoma, cataract management, and medical retina conditions.
She has spent more than a decade preparing patients for laser vision correction and delivering post-operative care, working closely with visiting surgeons from Europe. Alongside her medical ophthalmology practice, she has completed advanced training in ocular and facial aesthetic procedures, including botulinum toxin, fillers, and threads.
Fluent in Arabic and English, with additional proficiency in German, Dr Rana ensures clear communication and compassionate care for a diverse patient population.
